im sorry if you think because women are “pampered” we’re not oppressed. id trade having equal rights, pay, social standing, and not be a second class fucking citizen over having someone lift a heavy box for me any day.

If you are a woman living in the Western World and you still have this attitude then you obviously don’t know how well you have it. Women have equal rights, pay and social standing, and trust me, we aren’t treated like second class citizens. Get rid of your bloody victim complex and acknowledge your privileges.

This Patriarchy that you are convinced exists, is utter bullshit. If you lived in a Patriarchy, you would not have the same right, let alone more privileges then your “oppressors”. I know hundreds of men out there who would glad get rid of the draft, high suicide rate, and disposability in a society which passes of hours of expected back-breaking labour and increased chances of dying from stress young, is passed off as ‘lifting heavy objects’ in favour of having a stranger whistle at them.
